Forsante in general
Forsante is a tool for providing eServices for the healthcare and welfare sectors. Forsante is widely used in health care and welfare organisations around Finland. Forsante is a web-based Software-as-a-Service application. Forsante has been developed with usability in focus striving to to provide a service that works as well for teenagers as for elderly people.
Forsante connects patients, health centers, hospitals, social services offices and other service providers such as pharmacies, and supported housing services. Forsante provides a comprehensive service because in addition to the Internet, it utilizes eletters, text messages and telefaxes.
Forsante service includes the implementation project, training, implementation testing and project meetings as well as other project works to ensure that the service implementation is succesful. Our service includes also customer support, IT-infrastructure maintenance (servers, network devices, required disk space and backups) and Forsante updates.
In Forsante a guardian can act instead of a dependant (e.g. child, elderly person) in social- and healthcare services. The guardian uses Forsante with his/her own bank codes while service providers can see who is the dependant.
A service provider employee can transfer a task which he/she has received from a client to another employee or to another organisation
A task received from a client can be processed by a team or an individual employee. In teamwork one team member informs others that he/she is handling the task by clicking on "Take task" -button. Task status is visible to other team members.
Process supporting services
Each organisation can implement those services that best support their processes into Forsante. These services are listed in the product pages on the left side of this page.
Intelligent electronic forms
Besides messages Forsante tasks can also include intelligent electronic forms. Forms are automatically modified according to the client's answers. Following questions can be different depending on how the client has answered to the previous ones. Even personal characteristics (age, gender etc.) can modify the questions, for example questions for a woman can be different from those asked from a man. Decision rules can be attached to the electronic forms. These decision rules can then automatically support the management of a process. For example depending on the answer to a certain question the form can be automatically directed either to a doctor or a nurse.
Besides Internet all of the Forsante tasks (including forms and messages in them) can be sent to a client or another organisation via eletter, text message or telefax. If a client returns his/hers answers in a paper it can be digitized and stored into Forsante. This data can be processed in the same way as electronically returned forms.
