City of Helsinki expands Forsante usage
City of Helsinki continues the implementation project of better care for heart and cardiovascular diseases. Forsante sends automatic text messages from laboratory to patients. This makes it possible for patients to alter their medication (Varfarin) by themselves. At the same time Forsante multichannel messaging enables health center’s staff to send secure messages to patients witch include medication dosage and other care instructions. Patients can use the channel they like for those who use Internet there is a safe web messaging and those who are not able to use the Internet can receive instructions in a regular mail with eLetter service. In eLetter the information is sent from computer but after that printed and put into envelope automatically.
